Données géospatiales

Les données géospatiales ou géodonnées sont des données particulières qui se distinguent d’autres types de données par leur lien explicite avec un emplacement sur la surface terrestre (référence spatiale). De nombreuses données peuvent être qualifiées de géodonnées, et elles sont indispensables pour un large éventail d’applications. Dans ce domaine le portail data.public.lu collabore étroitement avec le Géoportail national, le portail cartographique, le catalogue INSPIRE du Grand-Duché ainsi que l’atlas de la Grande Région.
