Emergencies App

Description

When something goes wrong, the last thing you need is to hunt for information.

Emergencies puts the right phone number, your exact location, and clear first aid instructions on one screen — and almost all of it works with no internet connection at all.

The right number, wherever you are.
Emergencies detects your country automatically (SIM, GPS, or network) and shows the correct emergency numbers for that country, plus separate numbers for police, fire, poison control, and other services where available. Every number is one tap to dial. No signal? A short list of numbers that work in most countries is always shown as a backup.

Tell them exactly where you are.
GPS coordinates, a Plus Code, and a readable address (needs an internet connection) are shown together, so you're never stuck with only one format. Copy or share your location in one tap, or turn on live tracking. No GPS fix yet, or no signal at all? The app falls back to your last known position and an offline distance estimate to the nearest known town.

First aid guides you can actually follow under pressure
Step-by-step instructions for choking, severe bleeding, burns, seizures, anaphylaxis, and more — sorted by urgency, with a built-in CPR guide and compression-rate metronome. Not sure what's wrong? A short symptom checklist points you to the most relevant guide. Every guide works fully offline.

Rescue points for Luxembourg's forests and trails
If you're in Luxembourg, Emergencies also finds the nearest official rescue point ("Rettungspunkt") — the numbered markers used by 112/CGDIS to locate someone with no street address — and can point you toward it with an offline compass, using your direction of travel or your phone's compass, no signal needed.

A medical ID, ready for someone else to read
Store allergies, conditions, medications, and emergency contacts in one place, so a responder can find what they need even if you can't speak for yourself.

Also included

SOS flashlight strobe, plus a steady beam for signaling or working in the dark
No account, no sign-up, nothing to configure before it's useful

Available in English, French, German, and Luxembourgish

Built to work when it matters most.
Cell service is often the first thing to go in an emergency — in a basement, a remote trail, a moving car, or a crowded network after a major incident. Emergencies is designed around that: emergency numbers, first aid guides, Plus Codes, and your last known location all work with zero connectivity.

Emergencies is an informational tool and is not a substitute for professional medical care. In a real emergency, always contact your local emergency services.
