We are organising on the 3rd and 4th December a collaborative hackathon with the National Museum of Natural History of Luxembourg (MNHNL) and the GovTech Lab: a must-attend event for curious minds, creative thinkers and Open data enthusiasts.

The aim of the hackathon is to bring together people from different disciplines to develop ideas for innovative tools based on data on Luxembourg's biodiversity provided by the MNHNL.

Among other things, the MNHNL contributes to GBIF (Global Biodiversity Information Facility), the leading international database in this field. This database provides open access to data on all forms of life on Earth, including data from Luxembourg.

Why participate?

Multidisciplinary collaboration

Join a diverse community of data scientists, developers, UX designers, project managers, data journalists, business analysts and many more. Together, we will explore the data provided by the MNHNL.

FAQ

What is a collaborative hackathon?

A collaborative hackathon focuses on multidisciplinary collaboration and not on the competition compared to other hackathons. There is no jury, no evaluation at the end, no price. There is nothing to win, and thus nothing to lose. We prefer to invest in the quality of the event, to put you in the best conditions to develop your creativity and network with people with similar interests in Luxembourg.
