Digitised newspapers, API's and open source software from the National Library of Luxembourg BnL

Following the Open Data strategy of the Luxembourgish Government, the BnL has released a large variety of high-quality datasets with cleared copyright. The BnL also provides access to several Application Programming Interfaces (APIs). APIs are ideal for developers who want to automate tasks and create new applications. The datasets and API’s can be freely accessed via the new website data.bnl.lu.
The opening of BnL's data targets a diverse audience of professionals (data scientists, historians, linguists, researchers in digital humanities, developers) and will bring new synergies beyond the library community.
