Bird Ringing Records from Luxembourg

Description

The Luxembourg bird ringing programme is primarily based around two long-term ringing stations: Schlammwiss Bird Ringing Station and Brill Bird Ringing Station. These stations form the core of the national bird migration monitoring network and contribute long-term data on migration phenology, population trends, and bird movements in the Greater Region. The ringing activities are coordinated nationally by the Centrale Ornithologique du Luxembourg (COL), in collaboration with the Musée national d'histoire naturelle Luxembourg (MNHNL), which publishes the associated data.
